Sorry for the radio silence.
If you have been around for a while, you know the drill. We are fishing in multiple ponds. Which isn't always the best idea, but works well for us. We like to approach our time with zero downtime, and multiple lines in the water while we wait to land a fish or two, or a whale or three. (Does one "land" whales? Wouldn't it be more like "Beached a Whale?")
Right now we are simultaneously looking for some zoning info from Lee County in North Carolina, and some of the same type of info from OtterTail County in Minnesota.
In addition, we are looking at a current auction in our own backyard and we are playing the old and familiar game. Hello Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill! How ya doing, baby?
We are also waiting for numbers to come back on a potential renovation and transformation of an old farm house. We are thinking that we might rent that bad boy out, or use it as the caretaker's home for a new side venture we are considering. Or even a weekend retreat. Box Bend Country/Weekend HQ... or something like that.
The point being that we are locked, cocked, and ready to rock. (Hopefully not half-cocked. No-one wants to be half-cocked.) However, if you want to play, you have to take some action, Sparky. Time to go fishing... or, if appropriate, ice fishing. In short, fish or cut bait.
