Something strange happened to our blog. The old way of working no longer worked and the new way was not readily apparent -at least not to us. It was almost as if our lips were moving but we weren't transmitting or receiving. It took a few emails back and forth before we figured it out. (We hope.)
At any rate, here's what's been going down, or up, for that matter.
We've been asked about our "National Monument," but it is "all good, baby." The slope in the lot produced quite the edifice. But, you know, all in all its just another brick in the wall. (Hey teacher! Leave those kids alone!).
Our construction manager went over and did state with a certain amount of... um... Vigor, that the national monument was on the dark side of the moon as far as time was concerned. We think that this may move us into second or possibly third gear on this thing and finally produce some progress that we don't have to be baked out of our ever loving mind to enjoy.
And then there was/is the whole mothball issue on Main. Turns out that the moths are not the only concern... The picture below is from our CM:
The previous resident left a few incidentals behind. Ah... Okay Dokay. Can you say, "disposal expense?"
We have also been just a little cra-cra trying to close a lot. We have signed and stroked the requisite checks, but still no definitive "done!" message has arrived from the ruling party. We would like to tell you all about it because we believe it is a good, good thing. But this is also getting strange. But never fear, the blog is back an we are here, and we'll keep you updated.
The pen was to check and we were in the throes of stroking a check to a survey crew on our Sanford land ( yes, the one we took a beating on), when our realtor rang and said, "I'm talking to someone who might be..." Hmm? We'll see. That's all we can do. But no worries. Inthis biz, we've become comfortably numb.
