Well we finally have the Square situation squared away. Now we can continue to roll forward on Hazel. Speaking of which, our GC had his team hit the showers. Nice work!

Well, well, well, race fans. Welcome to another installment of "As the Box Turns." We are a little behind on our updates due to multiple road trips. We were in the Deep South... Columbia, SC, Charleston, and then Atlanta. This week: Holland... Michigan. All thanks to the day gig. However, things are progressing with the Box that Bends, and transforms. Main Avenue is being cleaned out. Hazel is wrapping up. Our GC just ordered the cabs and counters for the kitchen. The outside of the house is almost completely painted. Below are some photos of the mud and tape inside, and the new fence outside. in addition to all that, we are in the process of closing on another (newer) manufactured home on 1.3 acres. A photo of that bad boy is below. Finally, we may have an update on the Moncure acres very soon, and another announcement on an industrial lot. Time will tell.
Stay tuned. Yep, the old drywall is starting to cover the interior in off-white, almost-gray, goodness on Hazel, baby's interior.
We are ecstatic about this. It makes us want to sing: Drywall people, drywall tribe, slinging that mud, way up high... Oh. Wait. Sorry about that. Ahem. Yes... the Sheetrock is being hung at Hazel while the train slowly gets up to speed on the hoard Cleanout on Main. (See the earlier post.) In the interim, we are working overtime to get the "next" gig in the pipeline. Stay tuned. |
