Box Bend has now entered the territory of new home construction. Spec homes. Currently we have offers in on a few lots that meet our criteria. We expect to close within the next week or two on at least a couple of those lots.
We will then start construction on a small single-family residence and test our pricing to see if expected profits line up with the paper models we have created.
We are obviously very excited about this new division for Box Bend. She-Design created the new logo for us, as well as the existing logo. What do you think? Do you like it? Leave a comment and let us know.

Remember a few days ago when we said we would have a new chapter beginning- possibly? Well, this is a teaser. We won't tell you what the new chapter is just yet, but we will tell you about O-T-P.
An Offer To Purchase.
We have made two offers to purchase on two pieces of property. On what, you ask?
Ridgepath is gone. We closed on the sale on Friday. We deposited the check today?
How cool is that? Recall that this is the house that we thought we'd have to turn into a rental because our ego got in the way when we bought this home. Thanks to our contractor, and our realtor, we set a new price record in that neighborhood for a home of this size. And we walked away with a fair return for our 120 days (4 months) of holding it.
Now, stay tuned for our potentially big news. (Tom Petty said it best; "The waiting is the hardest part." -For us, at least.)
